Mother Came Calling
Mother came calling,
"Santa Claus is falling!"
Come quick, come quick.
Bring the cookies, bring the milk.
Bring the pillows, sheets, and quilt.
March , march out the door.
We found Santa, prone as a log.
I looked to mother and said,
"He must be dead."
Too bad, too bad.
No more presents , no more fables to tell.
No mistletoe, no Christmas tree , no more elves.
What a catastrophe !
Father went calling
"Santa Claus has fallen !"
Come quick, come quick.
Bring the doctor, bring the nurse.
Bring the casket, shovels , and hearse.
Shout , shout through the town
